On June 26, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that President Trump’s executive order restricting travel to the United States is constitutional. Here at the University of Pittsburgh, we are committed to an environment of inclusion which fosters global understanding and open exchange of intercultural thought. We are proud that nearly 4,000 of our students, faculty, and staff come from countries outside of the United States. Their global perspectives enrich our University, our city, and our nation immeasurably. That is why we will continue to do everything we can to support our current and future international students and create an open and inclusive environment where everyone is respected. The Office of International Services within our University Center for International Studies stands ready to answer questions and provide guidance to current members of the Pitt community who have questions or concerns about the Supreme Court’s ruling.
