2025 Pitt Workplace Survey

2025 Pitt Workplace Survey

March 31 through April 14, the University will conduct a 2025 Pitt Workplace Survey, administered by external vendor ModernThink. This survey, sponsored by the Offices of Human Resources and the Provost, will confidentially measure employee attitudes about the workplace, establishing a baseline to measure future progress and enabling us to compare our successes and strengths to our peer institutions. It will also provide us data showing the areas where we can aspire to improve.

Our survey audience is all full-time and part-time staff and faculty and union eligible employees. Individual employee responses will remain confidential and private. Only aggregate data will be shared with University leadership.

The more employees who participate, the better informed and more impactful the results will be.

Taking the survey

Every eligible employee will receive more survey information at your official Pitt email address, which is where they will receive a personal invitation from ModernThink on Monday, March 31.

In the meantime, more information, including a list of Frequently Asked Questions, is available online.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation.

James Gallaher Jr., Vice Chancellor for Human Resources
Joseph McCarthy, Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor
