Karen Bursic, professor of industrial engineering and undergraduate program director at the Swanson School of Engineering, was elected a fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
Napierala recognized with ASBMR Esteemed Award
Dobrawa Napierala, associate professor in the School of Dental Medicine Department, received the ASBMR Adele l. Boskey Esteemed Award, which recognizes outstanding scientific contributions, leadership and mentorship in the area of bone and mineral research.

James Joshi, professor in the School of Computing and Information, received the National Science Foundation Director's Award.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) named Rachael Kramp and Crystal Lara Santos, both studying biological sciences in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, and their advisors as Gilliam Fellows.
McClure earned the State of Black Learning’s Lifetime Achievement Award
Christine McClure, a senior research scientist in the School of Public Health, won the Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors a teacher or educational professional who has made a positive difference in the overall learning climate for Black children.
