Gen Ed Task Force - Get Involved

The General Education Reform Task Force invites all members of the Pitt community to share their feedback via an online survey and at upcoming listening sessions.

We are starting to review existing University-wide student learning outcomes and all current general education curricula (across schools and campuses) to recommend a more integrative and unified model for adoption across the institution. The project aspires to develop a curriculum and learning outcomes—as described in the Plan for Pitt—that are unified, measurable, and flexible while encouraging “student skill development in areas such as critical thinking, communication, leadership, data analysis, intercultural and global competency, and collaboration.”

Our work needs to be informed by the experiences, creative ideas, and thoughtful participation of students, faculty, and staff. So, we invite everyone to participate in our project in the following ways.
